REFORMAT THE HARD DRIVE

An accidental reformatting of a hard drive caused us to lose quite a bit of crucial information to our business’ operation.  Realizing the potential gravity of this situation, my bosses contracted a data recovery service to come in and remedy the problem.  I was a little skeptical, and thought that the process may have been a bit of a waste of money, money that was just a little hard to come by with the current state of the economy.  I thought that we should just try and cope with the problem as best as we could on our own without throwing that money away.  I was very surprised to find that the service was not only able to restore all of the lost information, but that the process took them less than an hour to complete.  The cost was minimal and we barely missed a beat as far as workday productivity was concerned because they were able to do the job so quickly.  Though I was against it at the beginning, I can honestly say that this may have been the single best investment the company has made since I started with them.  If we had followed my initial suggestion we would probably still be floundering ineffectively, with little or none of the information that we really needed to operate.
