SENIOR STAFF
When I talked to our attorney he said we had a couple of choices in Louisville Chapter 13 was one. I didn't want to do any kind of filing. I was determined to make good on what we owed, find additional customers, and get enough revenue flowing to take care of servicing our loans. I met with the senior staff and told them of the situation. They were shocked, and I was embarrassed. Instead of listening to them, and to the people in the field, I had gone ahead on my gut feeling and made a big purchase on machinery, and then the company that was supposed to make use of that capacity pulled the plug. I was left with a big bank loan for the machinery and a whole lot of egg on my face. The senior staff wasn't too angry. How could they be, publicly anyway. I owned the company and I signed their paychecks. I suppose privately they were upset and cursing me, and I deserved it. I had blown it big time and I was now endangering their livelihood and their lives. I was totally upset. I had to pull out saving the company. I had my job cut out for me.
